Students at GCS are visited by Dubai 92 FMs Catboy and Georgiebird during their annual International Day.
Our 2nd International day was a great success. Thank you to Barbara Michel and Mette Vitzhum for organising this event.
A big thank you also goes to our continent leaders and country leadersfor the fantastic layout and presentation of their country. The children lined up with great enthusiasm to go on a camel ride which proved to be the star attraction of the day.Students had the opportunity to walk around the gymnasium and visit each of the 47 countries represented during our International Day and learn about the countries, sample their traditional food and watch a Highland dance, an Indian dance and Thai dance show. We are looking forward to celebrating International Day in the next academic year. The MYP students had two special guests come and present their quiz show to them,a big thank you to Dubai 92 FMs Catboy and Geordiebird for taking part in the festivities of our International Day.International Day ended with a fantastic performance by our MYP students singing “We are the World”.Thank you to all the parents involved in making this day such a fantastic success.
