TO ALL DUTCH SPEAKERS
If you are interested in sending your child to Dutch lessons next school year (2010-2011), please read the information in the attachment, fill out the questionnaire and send it directly to Geert Simons. As soon as he has enough interested students he will inform me and we'll organize a classroom for Dutch Mother Tongue Development. (Ms. Katja)
Mother Tongue Development
It is crucial for each child to develop their native language. This helps them to learn any other language simultaneously or later in their life. Therefore we offer Mother Tongue Development classes at Greenfield Community School. This program relies strongly on parent volunteers to teach small groups of children and parents who initiate private lessons. GCS is happy to provide a classroom and help organise start the program.
Are you interested in supporting the program as a parent volunteer during the academic year 2010-2011?
Would you like to organize a private tutor and liaise with other parents of the same language?
Please contact Ms. Katja (ksteininger@gcschool.ae) to express your interest or for any further questions.
